Launched earlier this year with a four-piece footwear release, adidas and Yohji Yamamoto have returned with Drop 2 of Y-3‘s Adizero Running apparel collection. The expression of Yohji Yamamoto’s take on the art of running offers disruptive design marked by the collision between avant-garde aesthetics and progressive sportswear. Channeling the iconic designer’s rebellious spirit for runners everywhere.

The performance-ready gear stands as one-to-one reimaginations of adidas running products that further Y-3’s pioneering exploration of athletic wear. The athletic creations are constructed with lightweight polyamide fabrics that work with the body and offer heightened support, comfort, and feel during the act of running. The latest range features menswear, womenswear, and a selection of accessories.

To mark the arrival of the second drop, Y-3 took to upstate and urban New York to create a highlight of moving visuals that bring the selection to life while capturing the raw emotion of running through intimate vignettes.

Set to release August 31, Drop 2 of the adidas x Y-3 First Performance Running collection will be available via adidas, on the CONFIRMED app, in-store, and at select retailers.
